Scott Copping is experienced in the creation, restoration and management of a variety of habitats and will work with you to design a scheme that meets your needs, whether it be rewilding for a boost in biodiversity or mitigation for protected species such as water vole, reptiles or amphibians.
Currently, he is working on the Dartmoor Peatland Restoration Project for South West Water and Dartmoor National Park, creating dams and bunds to retain water in areas of the moorland that has been historically drained.
Recent works include the creation of over 3 acres of wetland habitat at Coombeshead Rewilding in Devon.
Over 40 new ponds were carefully excavated, which, once established, will provide habitats for a wide range of species including dragonflies, butterflies, lapwing, redshank, kingfisher, water vole and water shrew, to name just a few.
